Thought you guys could do with a laugh

Hello everyone well i got 2gerbils off my sister last year and both supposed to be male well i wne to clean them out and i nearly had a heart attack i think my neighbours heard my screams as 6little pink things started moving about i have never jumped so fast in my life hehehehehe..

Will post piccys when they abit bigger..

The first time I read this I read it as "last night" not "last year" and I was soo shocked. Good job I read it again!

Don't forget the pics quick smart. They don't stay squidgy and pink for very long.

 

Well an update on the babies i have 2dark grey ones they are male and female.
1 white one which is a little boy.
1 silver with a white spot on the head this is female
1light grey with a white stripe down the back of its neck and white spot on its head this one is a little boy.

So i have 3 boys 2 girls and they are just so cute.
Will post piccys when i get some..

Hi everyone i have some bad news the gerbil pups are now 3weeks old 1 died yesterday and 2 are very ill and do not look like they are going to make it. The other 2 are very strong healthy babies and doing really well.

Me and the vet are stumped at what could be causing the problems with these babies vet says it could be because mum is not feeding them properly no more since they should start eating solids soon.

Its so upsetting when you watch something so small growing and then this to happen. :cry: :cry:

ahh poor things, you are not allowed ot have gerbils in Calif, will never forget when I was little we moved from FLorida to Calif and we had my brothers pet gerbils, we had to go thru the state check point and they went thru our car and took my brothers gerbils, he was devestated.
