They were so funny! Can ynyone here read chnese? if you can these subtitles made it even funnier! (just kidding I can'T read chinese) That last one was just one funny thing after another!

 

Here's what the subtitles are for the cat fight:

Black cat: I'm going to hypnotize you so that you would give me all the cat food/treats.
Hypnotize...

Orange cat: You are crazy.
I see you have more than enough b.s. or bolona(spelling?)

I not too sure on the translation of the last sentence. It could be something like "twisted." But you get the gist of it. Hey I was only 8 when I came to the U.S. I've forgotten most of my Chinese.

I totally thought you were kidding about what it said! That is too crazy, I have heard that kids in china don't start to learn to read until they are 13 or so because it is so difficult. Is there any truth to that? But I really thought you were just joking and making up stuff to say, that is so cool that you can read chinese!!!

 

I could see how it could be very funny if I made up the dialogue. LOL's. Chinese is one of the hardest languages to master. I'm comparing it to Spanish and French that I had briefly studied in school. English by far is the easiest to learn. Chinese s@#$%. I had to go to Chinese school on Sat.'s while growing up. I suppose I have my parents to thank since I love to read and watch Manga and martial arts novels (very popular) in Chinese which is closest to the original Japanese translation. Occassionally I can understand a little Japanese writing since the characters are the same. They are made of pictograms and ideograms.
You would need 200 characters to read a newspaper. By the 2nd grade most Chinese kids can do that. I still need a dictionary for help.
You are right. To understand sophisticated Chinese language you would have to reach 12-13 years of age. I guess I can read only infantile Chinese but enough for me to kinda know what' going on.
