    it's an addiction. Taught myself actually - I had the basics but I like the hard patterns....aran wool sweaters with lots of cables :y_the_best:
    I'm going to try my hand at some of these when I get some time.
    -knitting a sweater
    -making my son's GF her semi-formal dress
    -taking a 2nd website design course (online...got a 92 in my first one)
    -working full-time
    -2 more fosters coming in today
    -the son is in driver's ed :|

    my mother once told me life slows down when you reach middle age, I'm assuming since my life just gets busier I haven't quite reached the middle-aged mark as of yet :eek:

    Mary u are mega talented. takes alot of work to knit anything i think. my grandmother used to knit. *mutters* knit one, perl two.. knit one... *shakes head* never had a clue what that meant.

    i tried crocheting once..when i quit smoking..i started out making a scarf...it turned in to a cat toy..bc it got skinnier and skinnier..guess i had a problem w/ the tension i was using..lol..
