Two cats will be adopted!

Long story short...my mother in law lost 3 long term pets in the past two years, all died of old age (one cat and two dogs). Polly (cat) the last of the three passed about a month or two ago. Mom lives alone and has always cherished animals of any kind. It's saddened me to think of her living alone with no pets since Polly passed on (Polly lived a good long life and died at about the age of 18 8).

Well, Moms birthday was May 17 and we've been bugging her about what she wants...she finally told us yesterday. She wants to adopt two kittens or cats!!!

So, hubby, me and his sister got together and decided to pay for the adoptions and initial vet bills for whatever shots they require along with the chip fees and whatnot. And there is a cat condo that we've been wanting to get for Booger so we'll give mom Booger's old tower which is tall, but it's 'basket' is just a bit too small for her. We're afraid that she'll fall out of it when she's chasing her tail around in it LOL Booger is NOT agile at all for a cat heheh Plus, it has two cubby holes that are just too small for Booger too. This tower would be perfect for a couple of kittens.

Mom hasn't had kittens in decades. She's just cared for two elderly dogs and and elderly feral cat. I think she will laugh and love having two playful kitties about to keep her company. I think she forgets how funny and silly kitties can be hehehe

I can't wait till she picks them out and brings them home. I know hubby and I will spoil them badly

This woman is amazing with animals of all types. She loves them all deeply. She is such a loving and caring woman. I'm lucky to have her as my MIL.

Not yet vene, but she's excited about it. I'm so glad for the potential kitties and relieved for my MIL. I really hated the thought of her being alone.

She works alot and hasn't gotten to the shelter yet. I suspect she's waiting for a day when both she and my hubby is free to go together. I'm just so glad that she feels ready to extend her personal family :D It's going to be wonderful.
