ok i posted a few months back about a dog that i had found on the side of the road in the rain that i had picked up because he wasnt moving and took him to the vet and did x-rays well they came back that he had a broken pelvis and a broken femur bone and the doc. wanted me to put him down but i didnt i couldnt so with the few donations that i got i took him several different vets and no one would help i ended up taking him to a specialist in tampa to find out that it was to late to do surgery that yes he needed to be put down but it was my choice and that he didnt seem like he was suffering. so i decided that i would give him 1 month to see how he did if no improvement then yes i was goin to have him put down, the doc said no way it would ever heal on its own and he would probably never be able to run again. well im happy to say 1 month later he started improving he got around more still wasnt really using his leg but was doing better. had already gained 7lbs and was just so happy. well here it is almost 3 1/2 months later and besides a slight limp you would never have guessed he had a broken femur and pelvis. hes normal running around (yes running) like crazy playing, u name it anything any other dog can do so can he.. hes a beautiful pit named hunter. that in all has went from 43lbs when i found him to now he weights 64lbs and looks great. i will post pix tomarrow night so everyone can see him.. i have posted pix of him when i first found him but i will post the old and the new again and just by looking at his face you can tell how much better hes doing. hes such a great dog..
