what a cool idea for shelter dogs

    I have a raised bed sort of like that. It folds up, which is nice. But it's not nearly as chew proof as the ones in the link! They would indeed be very nice for shelter dogs, to keep them off the kennel floor.

    Camp Canine has similar cots in the "bunkhouse" but I don't know if the boys used them.
