Ok people I need HELP!!!!!! I have no clue how to raise a unwanted runt. I've searched the net for who tos but came up with little. I need some help here. I don't know how old the kitten is. I was going to the store this morning and found him crying under my porch. I am a pet lover I have 1 dog, and 2 ferrets, but kittens are new to me.......... the kittens eyes are still closed and he has ben moving around sniffing everything and made a home out of one of my old tee shirts that i had on the floor. i have been giving him small amounts of bottled water (distilled). and a bit of milk. I hate to take him to the shelter cause they are packed as it is. Any and all help would be great!!!!!!

I don't have any experience in this, but I know you shouldn't give kittens the milk that we drink. It might give him diarrhea, and I would imagine it could be fatal for the tiny guy... If I were you I would call the vet for advice, and the best thing would probably be to take him there. They'll probably know what you should feed him, and could show you how to do it.

I wish you both the best of luck! Let us know how you do :)

KMR is a good replacement for mother's milk. You can buy teeny tiny bottles with KMR for him to use.
Keep him warm.....he can't adjust his own body temp. this early. Kittens eyes usually start to open at 2 weeks of age so he's young. He needs to be fed every couple of hours and you will also need to help him eliminate. You can use a warm, dampened washcloth and gently rub the working end, like his mother would with his tongue.
