Hehehehehe...I guess yall can tell where I'm from. Even though my Mom's not from the south and gets angry if you accuse her of it! I'll have to let her know that she had a 5% impact on my english skills.

Kyles, Dixie means REDNECK lol! OK I can say that because I appear to be the only one so far that's majority dixie. But really I think it refers to a southern american dialect which I had a hard time with when I first moved down here when I was 2 years old. I don't think it's BAD but it is usually portrayed very, very badly in movies. It seems like all of the stupid people on movies have southern drawls and everytime there's a southerner on the news they have the worst accent and speech and are usually missing a few teeth. Think Scarlet O'Hara from "Gone With The Wind" and not "Deliverance". Here are a few common dixie phrases: "I'm fixin' to go to the store", "I live over yonder", "I've been piddlin' ".

And you'd have to ask Mary about yankee. :0011:

lol! well i certainly dont speak like or say anything like that. perhaps the way australians pronounce certain letters sound the same? they need an aussie version of the quiz. then again, there would only be 2 types of language. regular and occa
