There is a nest out side my office window. they were hatched about 2 weeks ago, and their nest is down this well facade about 2 feet. ( I am worried they wont be able to fly out of there.. So far they havnt made up to the ledge yet. Mom is always there feeding them and I can hear them.

People I work with think I am crazy, and said when they are ready they will be able to fly up to the ledge.

    what do you think?

I believe they usually start when they are four weeks old.

4-6 weeks they will start to leave the nest you will notice the parents will start and sit outside calling to them but will not go in to feed them this is there way of getting the chicks to come out and learn to fly.

Do not be alarmed if you notice one or both parents push the chicks off as this is normal cruel i know but normal.

This is perfectly normal so within a few days you should notice them starting to leave the nest.

well, there are 2 babies, if you can call them that, they are huge, same size as anadult, they are hanging out on the ledge with mom, will see how long it takes to fly
