When to induce vomiting....(this is a chart, please read)

    Arsenic(ant,rat,mouse poison)=YES
    Asprin=YES
    Battery Acid=NO
    Bleach=NO
    Carbolic Acid(phenol)=NO
    Crayons=YES
    Drain Cleaner=NO
    Fertilizer=NO
    Furniture Polish=NO
    Glue=NO
    Household Cleaners=NO
    Insecticides(including flea and tick dips)=YES
    Kerosene=NO
    Kitchen Matches=YES
    Laundry Detergent=NO
    Lead(found in old linoleum,old paint,old plaster or old putty)=ONLY IF EATEN IN LAST HALF HOUR
    Medications(heart pills ect;)=YES
    Motor Oil=NO
    Nail Polish=NO
    Paint Thinner=NO
    Paintbrush Cleaner=NO
    Paste=NO
    Pipe-oil cleaners=NO
    Plaster=NO
    Putty=NO

    Wow, I had no idea that eating crayons or shampoo were serious enough to need to induce vomiting. Guess you learn something new every day.

    from a book called DOGS THE ULTIMATE CARE GUIDE from PREVENTION FFOR PETS (the company is prevention for pets). it is very helpfull. I also searched throught 5 other books.
