Do you have them out in the tank with the other fish? If you want to keep them. that is a VERY bad idea. Your fry need to be in a seperate tank or in a breeding net. They also need to be fed small amounts every few hours. I have platy fry as well, and they are some of the smallest out there, powdered flake food is all that I can get them to eat. Soon they will be larger and be able to eat the egg yolk or brine shirmp. Until they double their birth size, you need to keep them away from all your other fish. Even their parents will eat them given the chance.

If i had fry, i would put them in a 5g, and just put the whole egg yolk in the tank (Hard boiled). Then they can pick at it when ever they want, and if it dissolves all it does is create a cloud of protein that the babies will suck up. If you have other fish in there, still put the whole yolk in there, you cant tell me that the other fish will eat the WHOLe yolk before the babies get any.

If you put a whole yolk in a tank it will shoot the ammonia through the roof and probably kill every fish in there.
