Which filter would you recomend?

    Im planning on buying a new filter due to my old TetraTec dying on me. I was looking at internal filters, but i heard they cannot be used in a fishtank that has sand. I need one for my 30 gal, it has sand now i replaced the gravel. As well what filters are recomended?
