would this be safe enough?

My boyfriend and I have 4 cats. They all try and go outside whenever they can but we quickly put them back inside if they do get out. We have a screened in back patio outside. Would it be safe enough to let the cats out in the screened in patio as long as there were no holes or anything in the screen? Thanks

I have a screened-in porch and I let my cats go out there ALTHOUGH the Dixie Chick did manage to find one wee little hole in a screen and squeezed out through it. Scared the pooh out of me!!!!!
So check the screens first and check the kitties often.
My cats love going out on the porch but the DH is repairing/replacing all the screens so the cats haven't been able to lately.
something to also keep in mind....if you have stray cats around your cats can catch stuff from them through the window screens so be sure they are up to date on vaccines.
    They'll love it I'm sure :y_the_best:

I would LOVE a screened in porch for my furkids! But, my cats have already ruined the storm/screen door. Fiberglass screen is no match for kitty claws. If you have the metal kind of screen, it should be fine. Copper tried to climb the inside of the door lol.

home depot actually carries a type of screen that is pet proof. Kinda pricey (we priced it this weekend) but I bet it's worth it - and I know people who have used it and said it doesn't tear
