Hiya could i ask any one who knows ANYTHING about the following subject to please contribute.

I have an angel fish. i call him sTAn. (centimental name). he lives fine in a community tank. he's my first and only angel.

My boyfriend has had angel after angel and they all die, but none of th other fish do in his community tank.

He tried just the one, or in pairs, thre's and the same happens.

    Any ideas people?

Im not sure on his water quality, so dont ask! hehe.

al i know is even with perfect water, in the past, theyve died.

    thank you.
    xx

Do you guys purchase your angels from the same store? Is it possible he's getting sick angels? What other kinds of fish does he have in the tank?

tetras are fin nippers and could be eating the angels fins.

Do they show any symptoms first or do they just up & die?

well, i tohught they may be fin nipping but i have over 12 tetra's in my tank and they dont touch my angel, but then my anel is a bit crazy.
    T-Chelle,
they just die, no symtpoms, they just die. one after the other.

My only guess is it has something to do with water quality.

yeah, ill have to do some tests for him, its just odd that it always happens.

all his other fish are fine, no deaths in a month or so now.
