I'm very much against testing on animals so I thought I'd post these links.

This is a list of companies that does test on animals

And this is a list of companies that doesn't test on animals

I hope you all take some time to look through theese lists, and look for companies you know you buy from. I buy from many companies, but I'll be sticking to Nivea in the future. I like their products, they don't do animal testing and are easy to find even here in Norway :)

I really hope sometimes in the future cosmetic products have to be marked/labeled (?) whether or not some ingredients or the finished product has been tested on animals... It would make it so much easier for consumers that won't buy animal tested products.
In a city not far from where I live they have The Body Shop. I really like that chain of stores, they have great cosmetics and great values: http://www.thebodyshopinternational.com/web/tbsgl

Bente, thanks for posting, what I found really surprising is the "BIG NAME" companies that do not use anmials, like Estee Lauder and Revlon, Schiff, which is a type of a drug company. and then Safeway (a grocer) own labeled products, that does make me happy
