How are the bruises doing now? I hope no news was good news.

She was adopted on Saturday and went to her new home. At that time, the bruise was about 50% faded, or maybe a little more. I talked to her new dad yesterday and forgot to ask about the bruising, but he has taken her to the vet and got a clean bill of health so I am assuming it is fine. I know the vet looked at her tummy because he mentioned they were wondering if she needed to get stitches out, but her stitches are the dissolving kind.

Thanks for asking! I really miss her.

Two weeks seems to be about average so far (2 1/3 weeks, to be precise). I hope it stays that way! The longest was Chomper, who stayed for 5 weeks. Emma May and Maia both stayed for one, although both had been in the system previously. Carter stayed for 3 weeks (but about 3 people called me after he went to his new home wanting to adopt him - go figure), and Libby and Lacey both stayed for 2.

I doggysat Chomper last Saturday. It was fun to have him back! He and Nala spent tons of time playing outside, then coming in to catch their breath for 30 seconds and then back outside to play some more. Then they all crashed, and Chomper curled up on the couch with his little head under the blanket as usual. He grew a little since I saw him last.
