I was wondering what i could do to dim my fish tank light. I heard that silver dollars prefer it dark a little and i would just like to know any products that dimm light and if so send me a link or a DIY thats within reason.

You could try putting aluminum foil with holes poked in it below the light.

You could just use less intense lighting or use a fewer amount of bulbs. Using floating plants will also reduce the amount of light that is entering the water.
