He i have 1 29 gallon tank with a male gouramis. Just yesterday we added 2 female gouramis as tank mates for him but since then we have noticed he is harassing them and nipping at them a whole bunch. The male is about 2 - 2.5 inches and the females are 1- 1.5 inches. We have had the male in the tank for about 3 months but should he stop harassing them after they get a bit bigger.

If they get bigger and spend more time together he will stop harrassing them. My blue gourami, was in my tank the longest, and acts like the king, he even picks on fish bigger then him. As long as he dont seriously hurt the femlaes u will be fine.

    U trying to mate?
