fostering issues and people skills

    There's a rescue in southwest Iowa that actually asks about titers and overvaccination on their adoption application. I am thinking of contacting them to see if they need a foster home in Kansas. :)

    It just seems such a shame to transport dogs in when there are tons already here that need homes.

    Hey Jamiya---what about military people that are deployed? Is there a base close to you you could contact about fostering? I know I've heard about lots of animals being dumped at shelters when their owners are deployed and have no one to care for their animals.

    Yes, actually there is a base close by (several within a couple hours). I'll look into it. Probably everyone who is going to be deployed has already gone, though.
