gold fish question help

    I would like to know how to tell the gender of my goldfish.

    It's pretty difficult to sex goldfish. If you look at the base of the tail (between the ventral fins and tail), you might be able to see a little bump. That means it's female. Also, when they're getting ready to spawn, males will get little white bumps all over their gill plates.
