HeLP! i just noticed somthing on my female betta

    I was look at my fish and found taht her gills on the out side have white on them. Is there somthing wrong?

    Can you post a picture?

    Is it fuzzy? An indented area (like a scrape)?

    it actually went away. It was fuzzy. I think i put a little too much chemical in the bowl. i don't know. she does float at the top of the bowl alot though. I wonder if she is sick. :|

    How big is the bowl and what chemicals have you been adding?

    stress coat and zyme. it is little though so i haven't added very much at all. I should have probably just gotten water from my 20gallon tank instead.. i was being stupid at the time.

    How much water does the bowl hold? Does it have a filter?

    i have 4 bowls. One that is about a gallon another that is half a gallon. The other two are very small and hold about a litter. :? they don't have a filter either. I have to clean out the water about daily. >.<
