My nephew and his room mate brought their pups over Tuesday. These guys are Lab/Pit Bull/Shepherd/? mixes...mom is a farm dog, dad is unknown. All 3 pups are about the same age. Buster towered over the other guys. Where they weighed maybe 30lbs together, Buster weighed in at 71.4lbs earlier that afternoon (just shy of 5 1/2 months old).

Ive gotten so used to Busters size that it doesnt phase me anymore. Its no surprise when he walks up next to me and his head is at my hip...Im 5' 3", no more bending down to pet him or put his leash on! Seeing him with "normal" size puppies his age was a major shock. I now better understand the jaw dropping that mentioning his age gets...

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NWr_Us0osOY crazy puppy play...lots of barking, he wanted me to play rather than video.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mrPaVbaMTRw treat time...the bone is a dental bone, about the size of a large Milkbone.

Makayla (4 tomorrow) fell asleep while watching old Transformers cartoons with her sisters. After a drink, Buster found his squeaky and snuggled up with her without waking her!
