I need a little help with my Piranhas

    Hi, I'm new to this site and Im wondering if anyone knows about these wonderful fish

    Please add me on jonny_the_beasty_boyo@hotmail.co.uk if you know anything about Piranhas


    I just need to know general info like the following :

    1. if i were to get 6, should i get 3 male 3 female? (not looking to breed yet)

    2. where to get red bellies from

    3. what size tank for 6 of them?

    Welcome to auspet!
    Pirhanas grow really big, so for 6 of them probably 200 gallons minimum.
    I guess trying to pair them up is an okay idea, but you will always find a pair that will be agressive. They are illegal in many states and countries, so check your LFS or local laws to find out more.
