I am thinking of buying a 32 gallon fish tank for tropical fish and i was wonderin if this is a good idea  . And if it is, what are some good fish to buy for it. :y_the_best:

You have quite a few options with a 32 gallon tank. Do you know the dimensions? Length is more important than height. Also, how much will you be buying it for?

The bigger the better, I have a 55 gallon and it is great. I have found that smaller tanks are more work than larger ones. Buy what you can afford, a larger tank may only be a few more $ .

I prefer tetras, but there are other types, such as ciclids and angels. Dont mix aggressive fish with docile fish. Find a reputable pet shop, ask questions.

It's a good investment, providing you do some research on what you're getting, and remember to get a longer one rather than a tall one.. Best of luck..

Shop around and buy the biggest tank you can realistically afford (keeping in mind you'll have to buy a filter & heater too) or have the space for.

    Welcome to auspet!

a nice big tank is always nice, though i have found buying my 29 gal, that i payed only a few $ more for a bigger tank, a 15 gal was only 10 $ less, where a 10 gal is normally found at about 20 something $ hardly worth it. so i agree with the saying the bigger the better!
