MY PUPPY HAS PARVO!!! :(:(

    Doubtful. The shot your pup got either conferred immunity (if the mother's antibodies were no longer present) or was totally ineffective (if mother's antibodies were still present). Most likely it is the antibodies from the mother that helped your pup. It is also possible that the SHOT is what gave parvo to your pup. Vets don't ever admit that part.

    Jamiya, do you have any links that can confirm that. Not about the interference of maternal anti-bodies but that the vaccine, either live or killed can actualy give a dog Parvo.?

    Curious, I cant find anything on it. Thanks.

    Probably not, because there is no way to prove where the disease came from. But you are injecting a live virus into the puppy's bloodstream and if the immune system is overwhelmed, it only makes sense that the virus could cause the disease. Vets would never admit to this, though. They think vaccines are only good and could never cause any harm.
