my red devils sick ... i need help plz

    ok ya i have a red devil and a jack dempsy
    the red devil is about 3 inches and the jack depsy is about 2.
    i had them for about 5 months now and the reddevil has like a egg sack on its butt idk if its a he or a she.
    the sack is the same coler as the reddevil and like hanging i just found that out today
    i have been watching it for 30 min now and its like stresing and last night in was digging a hole in da rocks.. like a big hole it has never done that
    can u plz tell wats wrong with it

    Can you post a picture?
    What are you feeding them?
    Is the RD bloated?

    Does she still have the thing hanging from her?

    Here's a article on breeding oscars and raising the fry. Should pretty much apply to RD's as well.

    yes she does and she is still sitting by the eggs and rubbing her butt on them
    but the jackdempsy is like on the other side for him self
    idk cuz i think the RD jus had her eggs and waiting for the male RD to furtelize them and i dont have a male RD
    is it posebel for them to cros breed

    Some cichlids do cross breed, but I've never heard of a RD/JD mix.

    hey ok this is 2nd day and i see a white spot in da eggs
    sooo do u think they r getting fertelized or jus un fertalized

    If they're turning white, then they're not fertile.
