Adequan Equine 500mg/5ml is recommended for the intramuscular treatment of non-infectious degenerative and/or traumatic joint dysfunction and associated lameness of the carpal and hock joints in horses. Adequan requires a prescription from your veterinarian. A syringe is needed, but not included in the package.

I'm considering Adequan for my gelding, but don't understand the dosing. The Adequan website recommends 500mg every four days - how many cc's or mL is that? I'm curious how long the 5mL bottle will last. Exactly Adequan requires a prescription from veterinarian and i'm thinking about it.
