Question about Dixie's color

This has been bothering me for some time now...

Whenever people ask me what pets I have I always tell them about my birds. The thing is Kiwi is a green budgie, Merlin is a Blue budgie, Buster is a yellow faced blue budgie (with a little violet mixed in for good measure), Mango is a lutino, Spangle is a blue pied budgie and Dixie is a... Well let's just say I usually say she's a weird mix of blue and grey or my new favorite a "dirty blue".

This pic is the best one I have that shows her color. She's gotten older since that pic and a little grayer but still has the blue.

Is there a specific color variety that she can be labelled as?

Whenever there is a colour mix in any bird it is known as a pied.
So if she has more gray then blue she would be known as a gray pied.

Her offspring will be split to this colour, plus the colour the father carries and then you can get true blues and grays.

The best thing with pieds or birds carry more than 1 colour gene is you get a variety of colours this is where the rainbow coloured budgies come from.
