Unfortunately we didnt get to go get the horses.... they suddenly "disappeared" overnight....

We had the 2nd annual LSER, Habitat for Horses, and Bluebonnet Equine Humane Society Adoptathon yesterday on the 14th.
It was GREAT!!! PUPs showed up and had 16 puppies and dogs and were successful at finding 4 great homes for some of the puppies and dogs.

two of the horses found new adopted families and one came home with us. Her name is Marca Luna. She's crazy.. litterally. She had bad catteracts in one eye, and partially blind in the other and might have some brain damage caused by a blow to the poll.... (back of her head) Many many trainers have tried their best with her, but she will never be a rideable or manageable horse. Soooo, she will be a companion animal and eye candy for the pasture for the rest of her life.

She'll get all the veterinary treatment she needs, feed, grooming and upkeep and get to spend the rest of her life in the pasture eating grass, and sunbathing...LOL.... Man... what i'd do to be a horse!

 OMG!! I am in love! I have never seen a miniature horse before.
Ohhhh, how I want one. I am sure Harley would just love to play with one.
One day I will be able to move just outside the city...one day. Any takers on paying off a poor girls student loan??

    Oh she's a sweetie...spoiled rotten.

    We have two others.
Hope and Angel. They are both used for lessons for small kids and therapy. mom and Peggy take them to the nursing homes and hospitals.
