    Thanks guys...

I have a problem. You know how I mentioned Purrdy before? Well this is Matt's mom's cat. She is about 16 human years old now. Di rescued her from a family that was going to put her down b/c they decided they didn't like having an animal. They locked her in a small bathroom all the time. Well Di believes she is in her last few months of her life. She is pucking, peeing, and pooping all over the place. She never used to do this. Di has never taken her to the vet b/c she was declawed and spayed and they screwed her up bad b/c she still goes into heat and everything and she doesn't let you touch her back unless she's in heat. So needless to say Di refuses to take her to the vet. She doesn't want to hear what they will say. I tried to reason with her. I tried to tell her if she does need to be put down it would be better than her being in pain but Di just wants her to live out her life here and not be taken anywhere. She may even have a UTI and that could explain her peeing everywhere but Di won't take her to the vet. I don't know what to do. :|

If I were you, I'd ask Di if I can keep Puurdy. Then I'd take her to the vet ASAP. Maybe all she has is a simple health problem like a UTI which can be easily treated. I hate too see Puurdy suffer like that. It's not right.

Are there traveling vets that may make a home visit. Maybe you can sneek one in Di's home when she's not around and have Purrdy checked up. Di seems to be a nice person so how can she bear to watch her Purrdy suffer?

She wouldnt give her to me b//c she wants to spend the remaining time left with her. Also she won't have anything to do with a vet. I dont know of any house call vets but I would feel horrible going behind her back. She doesn't look as if she's dying to me but Di knmws her much better. She just is positive the vet will tell her to put her down and she doesn't want to so she just wants her o stay in the house for the rest of the time she has left. She doesnt look to me as if shes in pain but I will talk to Di tomorrow again.

ps. on a higher note I just got the new kitty pics!!!!!! There are so many. I might post a few tonight but for sure tomorrow

Great shots of Bobo, Bella, Patches, and Pooky. Looks like they all get along so wonderfully! I'm always looking forward to more pics!

I'm really concerned about Purrdy. Maybe you can convince Di to let Purrdy have a checkup. It may not come to having to put Purrdy down. She sounds like she's going through lots of pain and suffering (both Di and Purrdy) and it should be resolved for both their sakes and yours!

I bet Lynn is going to say that Bobo is a Bengal. I see cute spots on his belly! :0023:

It doesnt seem to me as if Purrdys in pain. Di just knows that shes acting very different.

Yeah Bobo has some weird spots on his belly. The bottem one looks like a the outlines of a cross. Vene looks like a bengal. SHe is beautiful. Thanks again for sharing. She was beautiful. Dont muiss her too much b/c she hasn't gone anywhere!!

Thank you Bellack for posting Vene's pic on the contest and Nern for setting it up. I just feel guilty about her death since I'm the one that invited my mom over and Vene got out when she left the front door wide open. Vene died too young and too tragic and it's my fault. At least she's haunting/visiting me so I know she's not truly gone.

While I was at work tonight my dad called me and said Bobo was limping. I went home after work he won't walk on his right hind leg. It seems swollen to me but not broke. I think maybe he jumped of something and landed wrong or something. Should I wait it out or make an appointment for the vet? :?: :?: I think I'm going to see how he is tomorrow and decide.
