I hear ya Nern. :p I actually raked left over fall leaves. This weather is unreal and unpresidented in Buffalo. I hope Ginger aka OM (Orange Marmalade) stray kitty doesn't catch a cold due to so many fluctuations in the weather. [-o<

    BBBBBBBBBBBRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!

It's -38C this morning here in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan.........and with the windchill it's -53C!!!!!!!!! This is nuts!!! From what I understand, -40C and -40F are the same thing.....FRIGGIN' COLD! The car barely starts and the rubber on the wheels is so hard it's like driving on squares! I have a stick shift and it almost takes 2 hands to change gears!!!! WOW....it's CRAZY!!

Ruby stuck her nose out the door for about 8 seconds this morning and ran right back into the kitchen. Poor thing was quite devastated!! I keep 2 bird feeders full so the poor birds can keep active and have full bellies. Then they go and hide in the pine trees and cedars to keep the wind off after they finish eating. I feel sooooooo bad for the animals outside....but I haven't seen hide nor hair of a cat or dog in my travels to and from work (that's all you can do in this weather, go to work and go home....too cold to shop!), but if I did see one, I would definately stop and pick them up.

    Stay warm everybody!!
