urgent help needed - male is attacking female

Hi! So this is the story... all was fine and now by babies are out of their little box and enjoying life HOWEVER, the father is now attacking the mother so bad that she was bleeding the other day. We separated them but we dont know what to do, who do we put the babies with and who do we keep alone, why is this happening! Please help!! thanks and regards Kika

 

Hi what breed of birds do you have and how old are the babies.
The reason your male is attacking the female is because he is wanting to breed again and she does not.

Keep him seperated from her as the more he attacks her the higher the risk of him seriously hurting her.

When my cockatiel chicks have left the nest i place them in a cage of there own with there dad as he will carry on feeding them until they start eating for themselves.

Hang millet spray in the cage near the floor so its easy for the chicks to get to it this will help them wean themselves.
