URGENT! - PLEASE CROSSPOST!

I just spent the last couple of hours reading about the efforts of the PETA crew that are rescuing animals in the wasted areas of Katrina.

Now I am a big guy 5' 10 (6' in my boots) 240 Lbs. Been a lifeguard, plumber, Security Officer, painter and a Bouncer. Pretty tough by most standards but I have been crying my eyes out in both sadness and joy sadness for the poor abandoned animals and what is happening to them and joy for those that have been rescued. You can see the joy on the faces of the dogs that have found humans to be with and joy on the faces of the rescuers that are doing this.
I could not last a single hour doing what these people are doing. I would lose it. I know I would just fall apart at the first dog.
I made a donation and I know it is never enough but it's all I can do aside from trying to get that monster Minton in jail where he belongs.
