We could start a whole other post now with childhood pictures...lol

My sister took this of me when I was about 4 or 5. She won a photo contest with it when she was in high school. This was my wonderful dog Kelly. She was my guardian. My mother tell a story when I was a few years old and she would leave me in the the front yard in one of those large circular "pens"(couldn't do that now a days) She says one day I escaped and all she heard was Kelly barking and barking. When she came outside Kelly was running circles around me so I wouldn't go anywhere.

 

That's a nice picture and story wtpooh! My parents had a dog like that when my brother and sister were little.

Ya know...it brought tears to my eyes when I was posting it. Funny because I see the picture every day. It's in our livingroom (I live with the sister who took it). But when I was looking at it on the screen....Kelly is looking right at me...she was my first animal....my love for animals started with her....
